POLYBLAK® 7617 R3

POLYBLAK® 7617 R3 by LyondellBasell is a masterbatch that contains 35% of special 40 nm high jetness carbon black. It shows an excellent dispersion without grit that can plug screenpacks and cause hard particles on the film surface. Due to very low sulfur content (below 10 ppm), it shows no interaction with adhesives, very low taste and odor as well as a very high opacity. It has been especially developed is the production of adhesive lamination protective film. It is suitable for outdoor applications and have much better mechanical properties at high loading than usual 20 micron carbon blacks. It can be used for the coloring of LDPE, LLDPE, PP, HDPE and the usual ethylene co-polymers. POLYBLAK® 7617 R3 can also be used in food packaging.
