Oppasin® Green 8730

Oppasin® Green 8730 by BASF is polyclorinated copper phthalocyanine. Is an organic pigment in optimum distribution in a powder mixture with a solvent-soluble copolymer of vinyl chloride. Is added to the rubber mix together with extenders and vulcanization additives after mastisizing the components, then the mixture is finished as usual. It offers light-, water- and solvent-fastness. It is strong in color and yields vivid pure shades. In transparent mixtures they yield transparent colorations, particularly interesting for dip molding. Oppasin® Green 8730 is used in food packaging. It complies with the requirements of the EU Directive on end-of-life vehicles, 2000/53/EC, EU Directive on packaging and packaging waste, 94/62/EC and the EU Directive on electrical equipment, 2002/95/EC.
