4117 Solar Reflecting Black by DCL Corporation is a non-bleeding, non-warping and non-migratory, complex inorganic black pigment. It possesses high solar reflectivity. It is produced by high temperature calcination. 4117 Solar Reflecting Black is chemically inert and has an exceptional heat resistance, weathering and light fastness properties as well as high infrared reflectance. It possesses compatibility with most resin systems. It is suitable to be used in applications where resistance to heat, light and weathering are needed. It is used to replace black oxides and carbon blacks to reduce temperature effects from exposure to sunlight.
