Flash Blue KT-289 by Kolortek is a mixture of mica (62-66%) and titanium dioxide (34-38%). It is a special effect interference pearlescent pigment. It bears thicker layer of titanium dioxide which caused lights interfere selectively. Viewing from certain angles, some colors are strengthened and the complementary ones are dimmed or disappeared. This results a dual-color effect. Using same color phase can highlight the color effect. Flash Blue KT-289 is used in plastics.
