Arctic® Yellow 196

Arctic® Yellow 196 by Shepherd is a yellow-orange powder produced by high temperature calcination. It is non-bleeding, non-migratory, non-warping, chemically inert and is stable to ultraviolet light & high temperature. It is generally used in applications where resistance to heat, light and weather are required. It is an iron-free pigment for PVC.
  • It possesses large particle size, good UV- & visible opacity, exceptional durability & hiding power, and resistance to acids, bases and solvents.
  • It is compatible with most resin systems and polymers.
  • Arctic® Yellow 196 is suitable for coloring articles used for producing, packaging and transporting food.
  • It is designed for extrusion coatings, engineering polymers & plastics as well as transportation & ACE plastics.
