Palamid® Bordeaux 38-8505 by Sun Chemical (DIC) is perylene red organic pigment with 25% pigment content dispersed in polyamide 6. It shows good heat stability and good to excellent fastness properties. It is recommended for spin-dyeing of polyamide yarns and fibers. The preparation can be dosed gravimetrically, volumetrically or by metering extruder. Palamid® Bordeaux 38-8505 recommended dosage depends on the desired shade is usually from 1.0-4.0%.
