TiONA® 244

TiONA® 244 by Tronox is a neutral-blue tone, chloride-process rutile titanium dioxide pigment suitable for optimal dispersion and processing performance in plastics. The proprietary, hydrophobic organic treatment yields an easy-dispersing pigment in virtually all plastic resin systems. It offers high opacity, tinting strength, brightness and whiteness. It provides a reduced screen pack blockage, downtime and fewer defects in thin-film applications. It shows easy processing without the use of stearates or other processing aids. It inhibits the yellowing effects that can occur during polyolefin processing. It is recommended for color concentrates, polyolefins, ABS, polystyrene and flexible PVC and PVC pipes as well as vinyl siding substrate layer and plastisols. It can also be surface treated with alumina.
