Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Venator Materials
Ferric oxide hydrate (FeOOH) manufactured in the martin process that is suitable for use in plastic applications. Is a permanent, non-bleeding inert pigment with a clean shade and good heat resistance that can be dispersed in plastics, and other applications. Used alone and in combination with organic pigments to improve opacity, reduce formula cost and add UV resistance. Exhibits color stability in processing temperatures below 175°C (350°F). Recommended, owing to its sufficient purity, to be used as a colorant in cosmetic, animal and pet food applications and in packaging or articles that come in contact with food (21CFR).
