Ultramarine blue 6177 (Premier RS)

Ultramarine blue 6177 (Premier RS) by Venator Materials is red-shade ultramarine blue pigment. It is composed of silicic acid, aluminum sodium salt and sulphur. It has high strength and shows fastness to heat, light & alkalis. Also shows excellent chemical purity as well as production consistency. It is recommended for the production of masterbatches and compounds and whilst not as strong as premier RX, requires less energy for full color development. Ultramarine blue 6177 (Premier RS) may therefore be used effectively in systems with limited energy input.
