Clearstrength® C-859 by Arkema is a methylmethacrylate-butadiene-styrene (MBS) core-shell impact modifier. Designed for injection molding, extrusion and calendering opaque applications. Exhibits low-temperature impact performance and processability. Offers good color stability, surface finish, high gloss and vicat. Recommended for PVC and C-PVC pipes & fittings, furniture films, indoor profiles, high quality technical films and edge-bands. Clearstrength® C-859 is commonly used in formulations for food contact or drinking water conduction.
