BYK® -S 782

BYK®-S 782 by BYK is an anti-tack additive for isophthalic and orthophthalic resins as well as DCPD-containing resins. It prevents the inhibiting effect of atmospheric oxygen on the resin surface through the formation of an optimal film. This ensures tack-free surfaces. The interlaminar adhesion is not affected but should be tested. It is also possible to use the additive at higher ambient temperatures. The recommended level for ambient curing resin systems is 0.5-1.5% additive (as supplied) based on the total formulation. It is listed in EINECS, TSCA, DSL, AICS, PICCS, IECSC, ENCS, NZIoC and ECSI. It is in line with EU Directive 2011/65/EC (RoHS 2), EU Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE), EU Directive 94/62/EC (Packaging Waste) and CONEG Toxics in Packaging. BYK®-S 782 complies with REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
