SCONA® TPPP 6102 GA

SCONA® TPPP 6102 GA by BYK is a modifier to improve the adhesion and mechanical properties of polypropylene filler, glass-, carbon- and natural fiber compounds as well as one pack in polypropylene. It is an adhesion promoter based on polypropylene functionalized with a maleic acid anhydride. It reduces water absorption and has an additional strengthening effect at a low density as an alternative to increasing the glass fiber content. It is designed for thermoplastics products. Recommended dosage level in PP fiber & filler compounds is 0.5-2% and in PP glass fiber compounds with an additional PET content is 2-3%. It has a shelf life of 36 months.
