Atmer™ 7002

Atmer™ 7002 by Cargill is a vegetable-based anti-static agent. It is a 50% concentrate in polypropylene that provides lubrication and mold release benefits. It allows for better dispersion and overcomes complications encountered when using additives in their normal physical forms.

Concentrates are added to the process like other resins, allowing for the additives to migrate to the surface of the polymer where they interact with atmospheric moisture, reducing surface resistivity and allowing dissipation of static charge.
It exhibits reduction of fuming/smoking in processing.
It offers better distribution of additives in base polymer, effective dosing of additives and less volatiles in processing.
Atmer™ 7002 is recommended for PP closures & caps and film applications.
Recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.6% in injection molding and sheet extrusion.
It has a shelf life of 730 days.
