4,6-bis(octylthiomethyl)-o-cresol. Acts as an antioxidant. It is highly effective at low concentrations, matching the performance of other stabilizers at higher levels. Used for a variety of elastomers including polybutadiene, polyisoprene, emulsion styrene butadiene, nitrile rubber, carboxylated SBR Latex, and styrenic block copolymers such as SBS as well as SIS. Recommended to be used at dosage of 0.05-0.30%.
