Paraplex® G-60

Paraplex® G-60 by Hallstar acts as a bio-based plasticizer based on high molecular weight epoxidized soybean oil.
  • It possesses good flexibility at low temperatures, excellent resistance to soap and detergent solutions and low volatile loss.
  • It is not as permanent as our PARAPLEX polyester plasticizers, however with respect to resistance to extraction by hydrocarbons and resistance to migration.
  • Its stabilizing action in vinyl compounds permits a reduction of overall stabilizer costs and allows the use of higher processing temperatures.
  • It is recommended for use as the sole plasticizer in vinyl compounds. It provides provides effective heat and light stabilization in polyvinyl chloride polymers, nitrocellulose lacquers and chlorinated rubber compounds.
  • It is recommended for use in baby wear, food packaging and flooring.
  • Paraplex® G-60 complies with TSCA, DSL, EINECS/ELINCS, IECSC, KECL, PICCS and AICS.
