Vertex® 100 ST1

Vertex® 100 ST1 by Huber Engineered Materials is a magnesium hydroxide (=99 % (untreated base)) grade. Acts as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant. Present as an odorless white powder. It is a fatty acid-treated product that provides superior fire performance and enhanced mechanical properties when used to make fire-rated polymeric compounds. The surface treatment promotes uniform dispersion of the magnesium hydroxide in the polymer used and enhances compounding and processing throughput, providing enhanced compound performance especially for high-loading applications in halogen-free polyolefins. Suitable for thermoplastic and crosslinked polymer compounds. Vertex® 100 ST1 by Huber Engineered Materials complies with Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Inventory, Canada Domestic Substance List, Canada Non-Domestic Substance List and National Inventory of Chemical Substances (INSQ).
