Omnivadd SP 5044

Omnivadd SP 5044 by IGM Resins is a low molecular weight wetting and dispersing additive for composites. It is suitable for use in filled sheet molding compounds (SMC), bulk molding compounds (BMC) & other filled/reinforced compounds.

• It exhibits improved fillers dispersion in glass-fiber reinforced plastics.
• It provides improved impact resistance, especially in systems filled with Al(OH)3.
• Omnivadd SP 5044 strongly reduces viscosity and gives more homogeneous distribution of the fillers.
• It should be added to the resin system before addition of the extenders and dosage level is 0.5-1.5% on extenders.
