Chemigum® P7D by Omnova Solutions (Synthomer) is a high viscosity and branched copolymer of butadiene-acrylonitrile copolymer, partitioned with calcium carbonate. Acts as a processing aid. Used as secondary binder to modify friction materials in combination with phenolic resins in semi-wet and wet (solvent-based) processes. Suitable for brake pads and linings. Chemigum® P7D provides high geel strength excellent heat resistance and reduces noise and vibration during the service life of friction materials.
