POLYTONE AP 133 by Polyols & Polymers is a tackifier used in the manufacture of rubber goods such as the tire industry and in the manufacture of mechanical goods. It is a non-heat reactive thermoplastic alkyl phenolic resin designed to develop high tack levels in rubber compounds. It provides tack in elastomers that are usually difficult to tackify. It shows excellent compatibility with synthetic and natural rubbers. It blends easily into rubber stocks. It shows excellent compatibility with synthetic and natural rubbers. It is used in conveyor belts, hose-, lining-, mats-, sheets-, reinforced- and fabric-lined rubber goods. It is also applicable in reinforcing resin in tire beads, shoe soles, apex strips, and co-extruded window profiles. POLYTONE AP 133 has a shelf life of 12 months.
