Reaxis® C113

Stannous carboxylate. Acts as a tin-based catalyst. It can be utilized neat or as a mixture in alcohols. A minimum temperature of 160°C is required for esterification reactions. Reaxis® C113 can be removed from esters via chemical methods or by adsorption. It supports residue removal and possesses an incompatibility with oxidizers. Used for number of applications including oleochemical esterification as well as curing of silicone resins and silanes. Can also be used for polyesters/esters. It is suited to obtain light and clear products. Recommended to be used at concentrations ranging from 0.01-0.20 wt%.
