Dibutyltin carboxylate. Acts as an organometallic catalyst. Reaxis® C233 is stable and highly active. It is slightly sensitive to moisture and reacts with bases as well as reducing agents. Used in the catalysis of isocyanate/alcohol reactions, transesterification reactions at 80 - 240°C, as well as polycondensation reactions of RTV silicone resins and silanes. Can also be used in the production of polycarbonate raw materials.
