SILMAFLAME AA1303

SILMAFLAME AA1303 by Silma acts as a very effective flame retardant additive for PA6 and PA66. It is a halogen-free, highly concentrated masterbatch of melamine cyanurate finely dispersed on polyamide 6 carrier. It is colorless, non-migrating and thermally stable. It is suitable for the standard processing of polyamides and compounds as injection molding and compounding. It can be used in combination with other plastic additives like color masterbatches, antioxidants, stabilizers and UV stabilizers. The recommended dosage level in PA6 and PA66 are 14-20% to get V0 class-UL94 (0.8mm thickness) and 4-8% to get V2 class UL 94 (0.8mm thickness) and GWFI at 850°C. SILMAFLAME AA1303 has a shelf life of one year.
