SILMAFLAME AP1372 PLUS

SILMAFLAME AP1372 PLUS by Silma is a halogen-free, flame retardant masterbatch for polypropylene applications according to EN 50642 until 2.5% in weight. It is processed by hybrid technology with a minimum content of low toxicity bromine salt as a booster. It is heavy metal-free and does not contain any organic polybrominated or polychlorinated compound. It reduces smoke emission of pure PP (as measured in ASTM E662) both in smoldering and inflaming mode. It does not increase the toxicity index of PP (as measured in NF X 70 100) when used until 5%. It can be used in extrusion or injection molding directly. It is also suitable for PP compound (filled talc or glass fiber), furniture, pipe & fittings, automotive interiors, electrical and electronics devices. Recommended dosage level is 1.5-10%. SILMAFLAME AP1372 PLUS has a shelf life of one year.
