CASAMOD™ 450 by Thomas Swan is a polar modifier and randomizer based on tetrahydrofurfuryl ethyl ether (THFEE) and is suitable for the manufacture of polymers, plastics and rubber products.
  • It is used in polymer industry during polymerization of a range of monomers to produce many types of copolymer species.
  • It provides improved compatibility and filler dispersion with high stability.
  • It has a chain transfer agent to control molecular weight and narrower polydispersity.
  • It increases vinyl content in sSBR, improves random distribution of styrene (styrene randomizer) with ultra-high-performance polymers.
  • CASAMOD™ 450 has a shelf life of 12 months.
