CASAMOD™ 550 by Thomas Swan is a polar modifier and randomizer based on 2,2-Di(tetrahydrofuryl) propane (DTHFP). It is used in synthetic rubber industry to enable the production of ultra-high performance polymers with enhanced functional properties.

It provides high level of compatibility and filler dispersion.
It contains high bio-based content and very low water content.
It is suitable for the production of solution styrene butadiene rubber (sSBR) to control the microstructure of the polymer, offering high vinyl content and even distribution of styrene.
CASAMOD™ 550 is listed in European Union, ENCS, ECL and TSCA regulatory.
It has a shelf life of 3 years.
