EcoFlame S-338 (First Grade)

Nonafluorobutane-1-sulfonic acid potassium salt. It acts as a sulfonated flame retardant with premium performance in polycarbonate at very low additive levels. It is chemically and thermally stable to temperatures greater than 450°C, making it suitable for use in engineering resins that provides excellent performance without affecting the process-ability of the resin. It is formulated such that it produces an optically-clear, haze-free grades of polycarbonate for extrusion and molding. It does not contain any bromine or chlorine and has been found effective without the use of synergists.
