Capa® 2101

Linear polyester diol derived from caprolactone monomer (terminated by primary hydroxyl groups). It is an easy to process, shape and apply white waxy solid of neutral pH. Also, it is water-insoluble, non-toxic, odorless and biodegradable in nature. Exhibits consistent crystallization, excellent strength, abrasion resistance, low viscosity, low impurity content and overall excellent mechanical properties. Offers superior performance, hydrolytic stability, outstanding flexibility even at low temperatures and lasting outdoor performance. Shows strong adhesion on difficult and sensitive substrates. Offers low reactivity and wide interval of service temperatures in cast polyurethanes where extended processing times are required. Provides much more easily controlled prepolymer manufacture. Applications include automotive and industrial segments including seals & gaskets.
