Capa® 2101A

Linear polyester diol derived from caprolactone monomer (terminated by primary hydroxyl groups). It is easy to process, shape and apply. Also, it is non-toxic, odorless and biodegradable in nature. Exhibits consistent crystallization, excellent strength, abrasion resistance, low viscosity and low impurity content. Offers superior performance, hydrolytic stability, outstanding flexibility even at low temperatures and lasting outdoor performance. Shows strong adhesion on difficult and sensitive substrates including leather under demanding conditions. Offers low reactivity in cast polyurethanes where extended processing times are required. Forms stable prepolymers with MDI (methylene diphenyl diisocyanate). Suitable as a resin intermediate in micro-cellular flexible foam applications. Applications include automotive and industrial segments including seals & gaskets.
