Iriotec® 8817

Iriotec® 8817 by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt Germany is a laser pigment for light marking in nearly all polymer types. It is suitable for a variety of polymers including but not limited to polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyamide (PA), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polylactide (PLA), and silicones. The colors of marked materials can be blue, green, brown, lilac where a white or light mark is more contrasted than a dark or black mark. It is a functional solution for laser welding, automotive laser cutting and light-on-dark marking applications. It is used in wire & cable, home appliances, automotive and electronic components. Iriotec® 8817 is recommended at a dosage level of 0.2%.
