Imerys' Nicron® series is a microlamellar high-purity talc product series used for cost-effective general-purpose reinforcement in rigid plastics. They can be used to replace low aspect ratio additives such as calcium carbonate to improve reinforcement and dimensional stability. Nicron® products are used in a broad range of applications from automotive to appliances, packaging, wire and cable, vinyl sheet and profile, general-purpose and household plastics, where they provide an optimum balance of cost and reinforcement.
