Attending the two days conference titled NanoMaterials™ 2011 and organized by Intertech Pira, from the Pira International group, was a great opportunity to review where nanotechnologies stand with regards to materials enhancement, commercial uses and promising directions for future researches. Taking place in London on June 8 & 9, 2011, the NanoMaterials™ 2011 conference was the 5th of its kind. Speakers and their presentations covered both technical and commercial aspects of nanomaterials including several examples of successful multi-year researches leading to commercial products.
