ASACLEAN™ U Grade

ASACLEAN™ U Grade by Asahi Kasei is a versatile, general purpose, high-performance styrenic-based mechanical purging compound. It is especially suited for color and material changes for thermoplastic injection molding and extrusion profile, sheet, cast film & compounding.

• It removes carbon contamination and is ideal for color/material changes.
• It is recommended for hot runner cleaning as well as sealing and shutting down machines to prevent carbon on start-ups.
• It is suitable for commodity, engineering and super-engineering resins within the processing temperature range.
• ASACLEAN™ U Grade does not require chemical reaction and soak time.
• Amount of purge includes 1-2 system capacities (actual amount depends on degree of contamination).
