Calcium Stearate GL 34

Calcium Stearate GL 34 by Baerlocher is a low to medium bulk density, fine white powder, high quality, tallow derived fatty acid for polymer applications. Acts as an effective acid scavenger for PVC processing, a processing aid for high throughput PVC extrusion processes, and a lubricant for polymer applications. Offers moderate ash content, good basicity, and good dispersibility. Provides consistent chemical, mechanical, and physical properties. Meets the FDA requirements under CFR21 for indirect food applications, and NSF Standard 14 for use in potable pipe. Mainly used for polyvinyl chloride.
