Polyplastol 21

Polyplastol 21 by Eigenmann & Veronelli is a mixture of selected fatty acids & calcium salts. It is a high-performance processing aid. It is suitable for the processing of ethylene propylene copolymer & terpolymer (EPM & EPDM) by injection molding & extrusion. It offers outstanding lubricating effect. It is used to decrease the mooney viscosity of the green compound & to eliminate the stickiness to the rotors of the internal mixers or on the open mills. It offers improved flow characteristics and can avoid any tear during demolding. It can minimize the mold fouling, even after very low working time of the mould. The dosage level of Polyplastol 21 is 2-3 phr. The shelf life of the product is 2 years.
