Vertex® 100

Vertex® 100 by Huber Engineered Materials is a magnesium hydroxide (=99 % (untreated base)) based flame retardant and smoke suppressant. Present as an odorless white powder. It is an untreated product that provides superior fire performance and enhanced mechanical properties when used to make fire-rated thermoplastic compounds.

• Suitable for thermoplastic & elastomeric compounds including polyolefins, EPR (ethylene propylene rubber)/ EPDM (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer), PVC (polyvinyl chloride) and certain engineering thermoplastics such as polyamides to make zero-halogen or low-smoke compounds.
• Vertex® 100 complies with Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Inventory, Canada Domestic Substance List, Canada Non-Domestic Substance List and National Inventory of Chemical Substances (INSQ).
