Zerogen® 50

Zerogen® 50 by Huber Engineered Materials is a magnesium hydroxide (=99 % (untreated base)) grade. Acts as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant. Present as odorless white powder. Provides excellent fire retarding and smoke suppression performance for thermoplastic or crosslinked polymer compounds. Compatible with polyolefins, EPR/EPDM, PVC and certain engineering thermoplastics such as polyamides to make zero-halogen or low-smoke compounds. Suitable for use in compound applications where excellent electrical properties are needed, such as in cable insulation materials.
