Niax™ catalyst A-107

Niax™ catalyst A-107 by Momentive Performance Materials is an amine catalyst for the water/isocyanate (blow) reaction. It delays the onset of the reaction, allowing higher concentrations to be used with a corresponding decrease in demold time but with an excellent cure. It provides the mixed foam components with sufficient time to flow and fill the mold cavity. Imparts good open-celled characteristics to the foam part, without adversely affecting the foam's physical properties. Niax™ catalyst A-107 should be used at 1.33 parts for each part of Niax catalyst A-1. This replacement level provides a similar rise time with a much slower cream time by about 20 percent.
