Niax™ Silicone L-603

Niax™ Silicone L-603 by Momentive Performance Materials is an alkyl-pendant, organosilicone. It provides improved foam processability and improved foam stabilization, indicated by low foam densities and minimal density gradients.

• Offers excellent foam performance while minimizing the amount of flame retardant additive required to meet test requirements.
• Provides good foam breathability profiles, and wider catalyst and silicone operating latitudes than previously available FR silicones.
• The silicone also results in low overall densities, narrow density and breathability gradients across the full range of foam formulations, including those with high auxiliary blowing agent levels.
• Niax™ Silicone L-603 by Momentive Performance Materials is designed for general use and is particularly well suited for flexible polyether foam production that uses flame retardants.
