SILMAPROCESS AV2100

SILMAPROCESS AV2100 by Silma is a processing aid, viscosity reducer, flame-retardant synergist and smoke suppressant. It is a masterbatch of high molecular weight functionalized polysiloxane on the EVA carrier. It works as an anti-scratch, slipping agent, external lubricant and surface modifier. It enhances attraction of metal and glass materials during the process, providing a unique modification of the surface properties and low coefficient of friction. It reduces melt viscosity & torque with benefits for the output, stability and compound homogeneity when used in the compounding process. It improves surface quality of the finished goods and decreases scraps and material deposits on the die. It gives better adhesion on metal or glass surfaces, mar- and abrasion resistance properties. During the compound/extrusion or injection molding directly, it is used simply mixed with the compound pellets. The recommended dosage level is 0.5-5%. SILMAPROCESS AV2100 has a shelf life of one year.
