UMEX 100TS

UMEX 100TS distributed by Toyotsu Chemiplas and manufactured by Sanyo Chemical Industries is a compatibilizer. It is maleic acid-modified polypropylene used in air conditioner cover, plastic pellets and wood plastic. Improves dispersibility of pigments and fillers due to its high degree of modification and low melt viscosity. Offers improvement in molding processability and heat resistance. Compatible with LDPE, HDPE, PP and 6Ny. Exhibits good reactivity, very high acid value and adhesion properties. UMEX 100TS is added at a dosage level of 0.5-5 %wt to increase flexural strength and other physical properties of glass fiber-reinforced plastics (GFRP).
