UMEX 5200

UMEX 5200 distributed by Toyotsu Chemiplas and manufactured by Sanyo Chemical Industries is a compatibilizer. Exhibits low melting point, good reactivity, very high acid value and adhesion properties. Improves dispersibility of pigments and fillers due to its high degree of modification and low melt viscosity. It is maleic acid-modified polypropylene designed for air conditioner covers, plastic pellets and wood plastic. Offers improvement in molding processability and heat resistance. Compatible with LDPE, HDPE, PP and 6Ny. Addition of UMEX 5200 at a dosage level of 0.5-5 %wt increases flexural strength and other physical properties of glass fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP).
