UMEX 1010

UMEX 1010 distributed by Toyotsu Chemiplas and manufactured by Sanyo Chemical Industries functions as a compatibilizer. Improves dispersibility of pigments and fillers due to its high degree of modification and low melt viscosity. Offers improvement in molding processability and heat resistance. Compatible with LDPE, HDPE, PP and 6Ny. Exhibits good reactivity, very high acid value and adhesion properties. It is maleic acid-modified polypropylene designed for air conditioner cover, plastic pellet and wood plastic. Addition of UMEX 1010 at a dosage level of 0.5-5 %wt increases flexural strength and other physical properties of glass fiber reinforced plastics (GFRP).
