Imerys' Jetfine® is a range of talc grades specifically designed to improve impact strength and scratch resistance in high-flow PP and TPO resins for automotive and in engineering thermoplastics for E&E applications. Jetfine® talcs have been developed using proprietary, ultrafine micronizing technology which produces highly lamellar talcs with a high specific surface area. Jetfine® talcs are recommended for high-end applications which require superior stiffness/impact balance or where wall thickness downgauging, such as automotive exterior & interior parts made from TPOs and ETP polypropylene, PC/PBT, PC/ABS, etc. as well as E&E parts such as computer housings made from engineering plastics.
