Silane USi 1301

γ-Aminopropyltrimethoxysilane. It functions as an adhesion promoter and surface modifier in fillers and pigments where it improves the mechanical properties such as flexural strength, tensile strength and modulus of the composites. It reduces the filler's sedimentation tendency in the uncured polymer. It greatly increases water (vapor) and corrosion resistance. Applicable in glass fiber or fabric composites as a size ingredient or for finishing. Also applicable in foundry resins as an additive to cold curing phenolic and furan resins.
